History and Culture - Williamsburg

stairs.JPGHistory and Culture were the topics of the day for BFTF Diplomats visiting Williamsburg VA on Friday. The professional crew of Historic Williamsburg took the students back in time to the mid 1700s with visits to craftsman (gunsmith, wig maker, silver smiths) and the seat of America’s first Colony, the Virginia House of Burgesses. The crew then visited the continent’s first settlement Jamestown, exploring  an Indian village, fort, ships and museum. Excited Diplomats then entered Busch Gardens, a “European” theme park with monstrous roller-coasters and entertainment. Reports from the outing are outstanding as they try to fit in one more ride before the park closes at 10 pm tonight. Stay tuned. (Photos galore under Diplomat/Photo tab)
