Home stays are a highlight of the Fellow stay in Winston. Life long friendship are formed and students experience family life in America.
The Founders began an eight day of Home Stay where they are experiencing family life in America. Often the home stay program is the highlight of their stay in America.
For the fourth year in a row, a number of families in the Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and the Triad area have volunteered to open up their homes to the International students, and more recently our American student participants that have been Summer Fellows, at Wake Forest University. This year’s Host Families are from Advance, Belews Creek, Clemmons, Germanton, Greensboro, Kernersville, Lewisville, Lexington, Mocksville, Pfafftown, and Winston-Salem! Some have to travel 45 minutes one-way to deliver their students to Wake Forest.
Here are our 40 Ben Franklin Summer 2007 Host Families of the Triad!
